The Marina, Runaway Bay is the next phase for
Runaway Bay Marina.

Our proposal is to bring the Marina into harmony with our neighbourhood and its future.

This proposal reflects feedback from our neighbours and our confidence in the growth of this part of the Gold Coast.

We have lodged an application with Gold Coast City Council for a Preliminary Approval. Such an approval would allow us to:

• remove industrial uses from the site whilst continuing to operate as a marina
• replace the current industrial activity with a residential development
• deliver a higher quality retail precinct with boat sales and chandlery, a deli or providore, specialist fresh food outlets, cafes and restaurants
• secure public access to the water along a boardwalk
• ensure greater connectivity to the Broadwater

We believe by maintaining the compatible marine use and supplementing it with a world-class residential and retail precinct we achieve the right balance for our community.
